My name is Gaurav. I’m the founder of Mokapot. I have been a digital nomad for the last 10+ years. My full-time job is running my Vedic astrology blog, which goes by the name Farfaraway.

I was introduced to ChatGPT last year and I find the entire world of artificial intelligence extremely fascinating. I’m an active user of ChatGPT, Claude and Grok. I consider them an indicator of development, but I also see an issue of unfairness, as the content they offer frequently lacks direct attribution.

When I looked at the traffic numbers for my business, I noticed a dip since the time AI has become an active part of everyday use. That prompted me to change my strategy and so I became more active on YouTube to promote my business.

It also got me thinking about other bloggers who might be relying on Google’s organic traffic to advance their business goals. That could be anything from an email signup to a subscription to their product or service, or advertising revenue from the traffic they were getting. The loss of traffic must have impacted their business much as it has mine.

I feel with the passage of time, many bloggers might become invisible as Google pushes them behind AI summaries. That inspired me to create a visibility platform for bloggers such as myself, which has led to the creation of Mokapot.
